  In five lessons, you’ll learn the basics of building a simple website and be guided to take the initial steps to get started.

For the Too Busy/Tech Avoidant

2. We’ll build your website for you and provide the information you need to keep it secure and relevant. See our website packages and How We Work below.
We strongly advise you to at least read through the FREE Build a Website Mini Course before we meet as the course covers the information we’ll be discussing.

• You’ll get a basic self-hosted WordPress website based on your needs, and
• You’ll get clear and complete documentation with everything you need to maintain your site.

For Websites that Need Refreshing

3. We’ll review your site for tech and content quality and make recommendations to keep your site fresh, effective and secure.

We’ll look at the back and front ends of your site and provide you with recommendations. Then, if you want us to do the work, we can.

Here’s what we’ll do:

1. Review your site for technical issues and content quality,
2. Meet with you (via Google Meet) to review the assessment, and
3. Create a plan of action that will keep your site fresh, effective and secure!

How We Work

Here are the steps involved when we build or refresh your website.

Step 1 – Your Preparation

Yes, there is some work for you to do to prepare. You’ll need to complete our client questionnaire and send it to us before our first consultation.

Fill in the questionnaire online, then click Submit. Then book your consultation appointment and watch your email for confirmation.

PRO TIP:
Are you a procrastinator? We suggest you book your consultation a few days in advance so you’re motivated to get the questionnaire completed before your appointment with us.

Step 2 – Consultation

• We’ll go through your questionnaire with you so we know exactly what you want and need.
• We’ll clarify your timeline and budget and establish the cost.

Step 3 – Scope of Work

• Whether you already have a website and need a refresh, or you need a new website, we’ll review and outline what needs to be done.
• We’ll provide you with a Scope of Work/Contract document that lists everything included within the agreed-upon fee and time frame.

Step 4 – Sign Off

• You’ll review and sign off on the Scope of Work and provide us with a deposit (50% of total cost).

Step 5 – Green Light

• Once we have your signed Scope of Work and your deposit, we’ll get to work.

You’ll need to be available throughout the process to answer questions and give us any other information not already provided.
